The lawmaker representing the good people of Sagamu 1 State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly and the Deputy Leader Honourable ABDUL Bashir Oladunjoye, had commissioned another borehole project fully sponsored and financed by him but this time in Ijagba Sagamu while also assuring residents of more projects in the constituency.

He asserted that soon after he resumed as the legislator representing the constituency, he did a survey to identify the major problem facing the constituency and discovered that over 70 per cent of residents lacked access to potable water.

The lawmaker, who did the commissioning at Ìta yèmọrọ̀ in Ijagba stated that the water project was to partly fulfill his campaign promises & that’s why he complimented it with a brand new generator.

Speaking at the commissioning, ward 7 APC chairman Chief Olalekan Ogunleye stated that the borehole project was executed at the right time as residents of the constituency had suffered lack of access to potable water for the past years. He stated further that he was happy that the lawmaker was fulfilling his campaign promises.

Another leader of the ward who also doubles as the Bàbá Adinni of Ijagba Hon Gbolahan called on residents to make conscious efforts to maintain the project while applauding the effort of Hon Segun SHITTA for having Ijagba at heart.
