In a bid to include youth participants in governance, Prince Adewale Shokoya of the Youth Democratic Party of Nigeria (YDPN) in coalition with Social Democratic Party (SDP) has declared his intentions to run for Senate from Ogun East senatorial district.
Prince Adewale Shokoya who on Thursday 5th of May picked his nomination form in Abuja at SDP headquarter office. He said, “i am not going there to represent myself but the Interests of Nigeria youths and the entire people of Ogun East.”

He stresses that, he has a laid down structures on ground. If there is anything he’s going to deliver, it’s not going to be far from any of these structures he aligned with.
If I have the privilege to be given the people’s mandate, I am assuring the indefatigable district of Ogun East people that, politics and governance is not going to be business as usual, Adewale said.
When asked his plans for women, Adewale said; “i so much respect women and that’s why i decided to contest for Senate and not house of Representative, because the only woman we have from Ogun state is occupying the seat of Remo Federal Constituency and for me to contest with her is against my policy of women inclusiveness in Government.”
“If any bill will be pass to bring more women on board to the lower and upper chamber to form the 35% of women in Government, i am going to be one of the people to support such motion at the Senate.
